This tour is a combination of beautiful nature & fascinating history. On day 1 we head to Port Arthur to learn all about the beginnings of Australia. Along the way you will explore the gorgeous old town of Richmond, one of the first in Australia. The drive along the Tasman Peninsula will amaze you with the great scenery.  On day 2 it is off to beautiful Bruny Island. This is the home to some of the most wonderful produce found in Australia.

DAY 1: PORT ARTHUR, RICHMOND & TASMAN PENINSULA

In the morning we visit the famous Richmond Colonial Village, you will have plenty of time to stroll around Australia's most historic town and its beautiful Georgian buildings including the oldest bridge in Australia.
Arriving at the Tasman Peninsula we check out the magnificent ocean & coastal views from Pirates Bay Lookout before heading to Eaglehawk Neck and a short walk on beautiful Egg Beach, learn about the famous convict DOGLINE!. Its then on to a short stop at the Lavender Farm and Federation Chocolate.
We then visit the fantastic natural attractions of Tasman Arch & Devils Kitchen before arriving at the famous Port Arthur Historic Site, Tasmania's number 1 visited destination.
We give you maximum time to explore Port Arthur, visit over 30 historic buildings, take a harbour cruise & walking tour to enhance the experience & check out the popular museum and theatre.


DAY 2: BRUNY ISLAND

Located at the mouth of the River Derwent, Bruny Island one of Tasmania�s best natural highlights.

Bruny Island is home to unique wildlife (including the white Bennetts wallabies), amazing scenery, rich indigenous history and delicious local produce. After a short ferry ride across the D�entrecasteaux Channel we�ll head to Cape Bruny and the Bruny Island Lighthouse, stopping along the way for some spectacular views at the Neck lookout. Next we�ll enjoy great coastal walks and stunning beaches, including Adventure Bay for a quick swim (conditions permitting) before we look for the local white Bennetts wallabies. The highlights continue throughout the afternoon as we sample some of the best local produce this island has to offer at the Bruny Island Cheese Company and Get Shucked Oyster Farm.
