This two-day tour covers the highlights of the South West and includes a spectacular Tree Top Walk, lush forests, rugged coastlines, pristine beaches, seasonal delicate wildflowers, wine tasting and a climb up Castle Rock.

This very special two-day tour departs every Thursday at 7 am, from the green bus shelter at the Wellington Tourist Coach Stand, Perth with selected accommodation pick-ups available on request.

Heading south with your friendly driver/ guide and fellow travellers through picture perfect surrounds, with a stop at Harvey River for a spot of sightseeing. If feeling energetic at our next stop, why not climb the mighty Diamond tree that soars 52 metres in the air? It is definitely worth the effort, you’ll be rewarded by the spectacular views. After your lunch stop, it is time to visit the Valley of the Giants for an exhilarating stroll among the forest canopy on interconnecting boardwalks and platforms, 40 metres above the forest floor.

Continuing on from this walk you’ll reach the Ancient Empire and immerse yourself in the dappled sunlight peeking through this great canopy. Breathe in the refreshing and cleansing forest air and feel the peace and quiet. Next, it’s back to your coach to visit and view the rugged coastline, and nature’s masterpieces such as the Natural Bridge and The Gap. Onto Mt Clarence for the spectacular views that surround Albany. You’ll stay overnight and have a hearty dinner at the Albany Motel.

On day two, your first stop is a visit to Mt Romance Sandalwood Factory which combines eco-friendly methods and techniques, Indigenous knowledge and employment. This is an award winning attraction with a shop so you can purchase this multi-use oil.

Next we stop in the Porongorup’s Range, home to numerous species of flowering plants & birds. For the adventurous be sure to climb (1 hour) up Castle Rock, nature lovers will love it. You will see other outcrops such as Balance Rock and the stoic Tree Rock.

After all that nature, a little afternoon of wine tasting set the mood for you travel through sheep and farming countryside. If you are on the tour during wildflower season (Aug-Oct) you will be rewarded! Stopping at the Woolshed for a peek, visiting an exquisite fruit orchard and sample the freshly picked local produce is a delight. You’ll then be returned to your original pickup location, arriving back in Perth at approximately 5:30 pm.
