The Mt Wellington Descent was originally started in 2002 by Island Cycle Tours founder Sam Denmead. A merge with Under Down Under in 2006 has seen this trip grow into its own business unit within this larger company. Still operated under the same principles that combine fun and safety, the Mt Wellington Descent is one of Hobart's favourite adventure activities.
Since 2002, we've taken hundreds of trips each year with many thousands of participants down Mt Wellington.
