During your flight you will feel no wind, simply because you have become the wind - this is the unique sensation of hot air ballooning.You will be transported on an aerial nature walk by the world's oldest and most romantic form of flight. Your flight will last approximately one hour but your memories will last a lifetime.

After the exhilaration of flying effortlessly above the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland it's time to gently wind down with a sumptuous fully catered champagne buffet breakfast at the award winning 'Chelos Restaurant' located at the prestigious Radisson Resort Gold Coast.

We are the ONLY company offering a superb buffet menu to satisfy even the most fastidious diner daily. Sip chilled champagne as you savour the superb gourmet cuisine whilst reflecting on your unforgettable hot air ballooning experience.

Our meeting time varies according to the season but generally 30 minutes before sunrise. Approximate meeting time is 4:30am in summer and 6:00am in winter.
Itinerary
Safety is our first consideration, and we will not fly if conditions are not suitable. If inclement weather prevents you from flying, you can simply rebook for another day or receive a full refund.
During the flight the balloon will be drifting with the wind as it has no steering wheel. Wind travels in different directions at different heights, our highly trained pilots will vary the height of the balloon using the different directions to take us to our designated landing site.

4:30 - A complimentary pick up and return service is available from and to local hotels and apartments. We recommend comfortable casual clothes, sturdy shoes or runners/trainers and a hat or cap if you have one.

5:15 - It takes about 20 min. to get the balloon ready to take off. The first job is to unload the trailers and to connect the basket to the material part of the balloon. We invite everyone to get as involved as possible but only do things that you feel comfortable with.
5:45 - Takeoff If we are flying low, we ask you to look out for power poles and lines and horses. Please point these out to the pilot as he may not have seen them.
