• Visit Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse where 2 great oceans meet
• Explore & learn about Mammoth Cave

You start this fantastic tour at around 8 am from the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre or from selected accommodation, travelling in a comfortable modern coach with your friendly, informative driver guide and fellow fun loving holidaymakers. Heading south, it’s off to the famous 1.8-kilometre-long, heritage listed Busselton Jetty. This fully restored and very impressive piece of infrastructure is the longest timber-piled jetty in the southern hemisphere and extends over the protected waters of the scenic Geographe Bay. Whilst here, you will enjoy a delicious, relaxing morning tea while soaking up the spectacularly stunning scenery. You’ll then leave the seaside resort town of Busselton and head to the magnificent Margaret River Wine Region.

The Margaret River region is highly regarded as one of Australia’s finest wine regions and its stunning scenic landscapes and perfect weather only add to its intrigue and beauty. With so much to see and do, you will soon fall in love with this sensational area of Western Australia. Visiting a special brewery, your soul and senses will be satisfied and singing after a sumptuous picnic style lunch of the freshest local produce and a sample of some select boutique wines and beers.

Fully sated, it’s off to the limestone magnificence of the cavernous Mammoth Cave. Leisurely walking on platforms and boardwalks through the natural beauty of this impressive ancient chamber, listening to an informative narrative, will leave you spellbound. Enjoy a lovely drive through the 60-metre-high towering karri trees of Boranup Forest. Dappled sunlight enhances their smooth trunks, while forest floors run thick with tumbling wildflowers including delicate orchids and colourful fungi that combine perfectly with the melodious sounds of the stunning native birds and the fresh, crisp smell of the eucalypts. The fauna you see on display at Eagles Heritage Raptor centre include captive bred birds and individuals from other facilities, who are placed here for rehabilitation and hopefully a return to the wild. If their condition prevents them from full recovery, they are housed here to happily live out their life with all the creature comforts – a must see for all nature lovers.

The stately working Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse marks the meeting place of the beautiful, but often treacherous, waters of the Southern and Indian Oceans and is located on the furthest south westerly point of this great southern land. The tallest mainland lighthouse is open to the public for a truly spectacular panoramic view and picturesque photo opportunity.

Next, head to Margaret River’s main street for some enjoyable exploration and boutique shopping. While here, why not enjoy a lovely relaxing dinner at one of the quaint local cafés or restaurants before heading home. You’ll arrive back in Perth and be returned to your original pickup location at around 9:30 pm.
