Tour Description
Spend 2 days exploring the wonders of Kakadu Nationa Park, includes Yellow Waters Billabong, Nourglanie Rock, Ubirr, Mamukala and Corroboree Billabong.
Day 1
Travel deep into World Heritage listed, nature rich Kakadu National Park. View ancient ochre rock paintings at Nourlangie Rock and cruise the famous Yellow Waters billabong with the opportunity to see the saltwater crocodile in its natural habitat. At the end of the day we visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre before checking into our overnight accommodation. Aurora Sth Alligator
Day 2
This morning stop at Ubirr with a short walk to view Aboriginal rock art and spectacular scenery of the Arnhem Land floodplains. We spend time exploring the fascinating ecosystems of Magela Creek and Mamukala Wetlands, which is also home to a wide variety of migratory birds. Towards the end of the day we enjoy a cruise of the wildlife rich Corroboree Billabong. Afterwards we journey back to the tropical capital Darwin.
