Tour Description
Mt. Wellington , waterfalls, the world's tallest hardwood trees, lush rainforests and the legendary Tassie Devil are just a few of the highlights on our day out to Mt. Field National Park . Our guides will lead you along some stunning walks, paths lined with massive man ferns and marvel at some of the world's tallest trees.
Our day begins with the spectacular views from the summit of Mt. Wellington, we then head west to Mt. Field National Park. Mt. Field is Tasmania’s oldest National Park and is home to the three tiered picturesque Russell Falls. It is also famous for the world’s tallest hardwood trees you will see towering above you. We walk amongst some classic Tasmanian rainforest, easy walks in stunning surrounds. On our way home to Hobart we visit Something Wild – an animal conservation park. Here the animals are well loved and cared for in a natural bush setting. We enjoy a 1 hour personal tour allowing you to get up close and personal with Tassie's special devils. We arrive back to Hobart around 5pm.
