FLINDERS RANGES & OUTBACK 3 DAY MOUNTAIN SAFARI- CAMPING OPTION
Departs Adelaide every Friday
Please note: There is a Saturday departure on Saturday the 2nd of January.
Our exciting small group outback safari will provide the opportunity to explore nature, wildlife, wilderness and Aboriginal culture. Commence your wilderness journey by heading north via Port Germein to Alligator Gorge National Park for lunch, with spectacular views of the mountains and Spencer Gulf. We the head further north, travelling through the picturesque Pichi Richi Pass to Quorn (the start of the original Ghan Railway) onto the magnificent Flinders Ranges, visiting Wilpena Pound, Rawnsley Park, Aboriginal art sites and the Moralana scenic drive. We travel through the famous Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges (also called the corridors through time) and view some of the oldest rock formations in the world.
On our way home to Adelaide you will have the opportunity to experience one of the best wine regions in South Australia - The Clare Valley where you can have a taste of the fine local wines and produce.
All meals included. Spending 2 nights at Rawnsley Park allows all clients to join our nightly camp fire activities.
You will be sleeping in swags under a million stars. If you would prefer to stay in a bunkhouse, ensuite room or eco villa then please select the appropriate tour and not this option.
