Tour Description
Imagine a 4 Course Shared Cold Platter Style Progressive Lunch with each course being served at a different Cellar Door across the wineries of the McLaren Vale region. Each course highlights South Australian Artisan cheeses and local produce in the wine appreciation context with all foods tailored to match a different highlighted wine style at each cellar door.
Leconfield, home of Richard Hamilton wines is the first stop for the day with an shared appetizer paltter matching with a dry white wine. Our next visit is to Wirra Wirra, this well know winery in this region is a beautiful setting with magnificent gums. Here we enjoy our shared entree platter matched with a full bodied white wine.
Woodstock Winery set amongst native gardens is our next winery stop with our shared main course platter matched to a fine tannic red wine.
Rosemount Estate is our last winery, our shared dessert platter being served in this character Cellar Door setting with its large Barrels providing an interesting backdrop for this visit.
