Tour Description
DAY 1: Broome – Windjana Gorge
(0700) We depart Broome and travel via the Derby Prison Tree for a short visit. We now leave the bitumen behind us as we enter the Gibb River Road, almost instantly we can feel the remoteness. A walk up Windjana Gorge this afternoon is sure to impress. The area is rich in aboriginal culture and your guide will tell you about the “outlaw” Jandamurra, the Bunaba people and the battle of Devils Pass.

DAY 2: Windjana – Bells Gorge
(0700) This morning we’re off to Tunnel Creek, have your bathers and torches ready. This amazing Tunnel cuts through the Napier Range. Afternoon sees us off to Bells Gorge. Camping overnight – Silent Grove. (B.L.D)
DAY 3: Bells Gorge - Manning
(0700) Leaving Bells Gorge this morning, we travel through the beautiful scenery of the Kimberley’s highest mountain range – King Leopold Ranges on our way to Galvans Gorge, this gorge will tempt you to don the bathers. For those feeling like a walk, a visit to Manning Gorge this afternoon is recommended. Camping overnight Mt Barnett Station. (B.L.D)
DAY 4: Manning – El Questro
Our journey today takes us through the majestic Cockburn Ranges, have your cameras ready for the spectacular scenery and panoramic views of the Cockburn Ranges, Cambridge Gulf and the twin rivers of the Durack and Pentecost. This afternoon you have the option to join some of El Questro’s activities or hike some of their spectacular gorges. Camping overnight El Questro. (B.L.D)
DAY 5: El Questro - Kununurra
The morning sees us soaking in the thermal pools of Zebedee Springs, and an option to hike some of the spectacular gorges of El Questro. Before we head to the Kimberley town of Kununurra. (B.L)
DAY 6: Kununurra – Bungles
Depart Kununurra and drive via the scenic RAGGED RANGE to Turkey Creek, where we have a short stop. We then head to the Bungle Bungles turn off and 53 km drive on a very scenic, but winding dirt road via the magnificent OSMAND RANGE. We arrive in time for lunch at the Northern Gorges. Afternoon walks in ECHIDNA CHASM and other walks in the northern gorges, as time permits, before arriving at our overnight camp on sunset. (L.D)
DAY 7: Bungle Bungles – Kununurra
This morning we head to the Southern end for a walk through the Bee Hive area of PICCANINNY CREEK and CATHEDRAL GORGE (optional helicopter flight available today, giving the advantage to view these magnificent formations close up from the air), before our journey officially ends back in the town of Kununurra.
