Backpacker package based in the stunning Whitsundays including transfers, DORM accommodation at both Airlie Beach and Long Island, Great Barrier Reef Adventures Day Cruise, Camira Sailing Adventure visiting Whitehaven Beach and Ocean rafting.

Day 1
Great Barrier Reef Adventures: One of the great wonders of the world, the Great Barrier Reef, is at its magnificent best in the Whitsundays so here is the place to go. Board the region's premier vessel 'Seaflight' for the cruise out through the Whitsunday Islands to the stunning Knuckle Reef Lagoon- acclaimed as one of the most spectacular reef sites. Go diving, snorkelling and hit the waterslide on Queensland’s most innovative and spacious reef pontoon! A delicious buffet lunch is included.

Day 2
A day at leisure to explore Airlie and laze by the lagoon. If you are feeling active the Awesome team can sort you out for some parasailing, Sky Diving or tell you where the best places for a long lunch are.

Day 3
Camira Day Sailing Adventure: Leave the mainland behind on board the fantastic Camira Sailing Adventure. She is a modern, prestigious day sailing vessel in Airlie built to a futuristic design at a cost of $4 million! Explore magnificent Whitehaven Beach and the spectacular Whitsunday Islands National Park. Swimming, snorkelling, beautiful beaches and bays, a superb barbecue lunch and the thrill of sailing – put it all together and you have an exceptional day out! All refreshments included.

Day 4
Spend a day at leisure exploring Long Island, part of the Whitsundays National Park, or have a relaxing day enjoying the facilities of the resort. Explore the 2,500 acres of rainforest, find your own secluded bay and take in the great outdoors on the 20 kilometers of scenic walking tracks. On the island there is prolific birdlife, wallabies and fruit bats. Come evening enjoy a game of volleyball or a few beers in the swim up pool bar!

Day 5
It’s high speed adventure today with 'Ocean Rafting' on their Northern Exposure trip. Their purpose built vessels take you to the superb smaller bays around Hook Island for some excellent snorkelling on inner reef sites and to a different area of Whitehaven Beach - Hill Inlet. Take the walk to the lookout for the spectacular view over the white silica sands and river inlet. Buffet style lunch included.

Day 6
Maybe today you’d just like to chill in a beach hammock, read a good book, take a dip in the pool, play a game of tennis. Long Island also has some great watersports activities on offer. Ferry/bus departures back to Airlie Beach available at a variety of times.
