- Transfers available from and back to the Gold Coast hotels, departing from 8:35am or connection from Helensvale Train Station at approximately 9:15am.(transfer cost additional) Or drive yourself and meet us on the Mountain out the front of the Tamborine Mountain Chalets at 112 Long Road, Eagle Heights (Gallery Walk) Brisbane transfers only available for gourps of 6 or more passengers. Tour Description
Ride in the famous tram style Trolley on this fun filled day for the whole family with kids or the big kid at heart. You can meet us at our depot or combine transfers from the Gold Coast, experience the big three Tamborine attractions and lunch in a fun filled four hour tour.
We will start the day with a visit to Thunderbird Park for ThunderEgg Fossicking at the amazing Thunderbird Park. Fossick for your own treasures in the World's largest mine of Thundereggs.
Followed by the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk. You depart through the Rainforest Eco Gallery and begin the adventure on a spectacular elevated walkway through the beautiful middle and upper canopies of the rainforest. The walkway is a stable, high-tech steel structure enabling visitors to explore these canopies in a safe and secure way. It descends gradually to the lower canopy and follows points of interest including rockpools and waterfalls, a butterfly lookout, local history enclosure and sheltered rest areas along the way until reaching the amazing Cantilever. This is a 40 metre long span soaring 30 metres above the valley, with spectacular views over the creek and the rainforest canopies below. Finally the walk returns along the rainforest floor to the Centre.
With a picnic lunch included at the National Park following by followed by "ever-glowing'' Glow Worm in the magnificent purpose built caves. You are guided on a 25 minute tour of the cave where over 7,000 glow worms light up the completely dark enclosure. This is the largest colony of Glow Worms in Australia and New Zealand. It is amazing!
We finish at Granny Macs on Gallery Walk so you can load up on sweet treats for your ride home.
This is a great day for the whole family and perfect for school holidays. Price includes all admission fees to Thunderbird Park, Rainforest Skywalk and Glow Worm Caves.
