Tour Description
Includes Pickup from Accom + Skyrail + 3 hours in Kuranda + Kuranda Train and return transfers to your Accomodation.
Kuranda Scenic Rail (1.5 hours)
Kuranda established a railway station in the mid 1800's when mining and logging was a big industry on the Atherton Tablelands.The Kuranda Scenic Railway winds its way through 15 tunnels and over 36 bridges from Cairns to Kuranda Village with a photo stop at Barron river falls, and affords some spectacular scenery en route. The train will bring you to Cairns central station, to the Cairns CBD at 5:15pm and back to your accomodation by 5:30pm
Kuranda Village (1 hours)
Kuranda has become quite a famous tourist destination and recognised for its famous "Kuranda Markets". Whether it be a stroll around the famous markets where you will find a variety of local arts and crafts or to taking a rainforest walk along the many marked tracks.
Rainforest Station(2.5 hours)
Hope on the coach for a short ride to rainforest station where you'll enjoy a delightful BBQ lunch(included) and watch the Pamagirri Dancers perform in the Rainforest Amphitheatre.
Another highlight is the ride through the rainforest aborad the amphibious/all terrain Army Duck! Have your photo taken cuddling a koala(own expense) or watch a crocodile jump 6ft out of the water for its lunch!
Skyrail Cableway (1 hour)
Skyrail Rainforest Cableway takes you on a journey between Caravonica and Kuranda over the rainforest canopy with breathtaking views of the Coral Sea and stops at Red Peak and Barron Falls.
