Order a drink (alcoholic or non alcoholic) as you cruise along Brisbane River on the ultra modern vessel. As you're enjoying your morning tea and home-made style lunch, you'll view Brisbane's most affluent suburbs from a vantage point you can only get by boat. You will see parts of Brisbane that you can only access by boat. Gaze upon the historical Queensland homesteads and modern luxury waterfront mansions as the captain narrates the local story - from history to modern day. Morning tea and lunch are both served on-board. You then have two and a half hours to truly explore the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was rated one of the top ten zoos in the world by AOL, and is the world's first and largest koala sanctuary. A large zoo for native Australian animals, it rests on the banks of the Brisbane River. There are over 130 koalas living at Lone Pine, but there are many other colourful native Australian species at Lone Pine, so you won't miss the opportunity to cuddle a koala, hand feed a kangaroo, or snap a selfie with the majestic emu. This Sanctuary is home to a host of Australia's weird and wonderful wildlife species, from large snakes to birds of prey, Tasmanian devils, dingoes, and even wombats.
