Tour Description
Enjoy the unique beauty of red sand hills and ancient desert oaks within spinifex plains as we travel to Kings Canyon. Enjoy a guided walk through this ancient canyon landscape, one of the most spectacular areas of the outback
Emu Run collect you from outside your Alice Springs accommodation at 6am. A light breakfast onboard our comfortable coach then stop at Erldunda Roadhouse and Aboriginal Art Display.
We travel along the Luritja Road towards Kings Canyon. On arrival enjoy a deliciously prepared lunch, then a spectacular 3 hour guided Rim Walk ( if weather conditions are over 35 degree Celsius or if the group prefers we can opt to do a base walk and visit Kathleen Springs instead)
Travel back to Erldunda Motel for a healthy dinner, and then drive in coach comfort to Alice Springs returning approx midnight in cooler months and 1.00am warmer months. (Comfortable Coach seats are nice for a sleep on the way home)
