Tour Description
Join the Window to the Wilderness tour and discover waterfalls cascading into mountain streams, thick green rainforests alive with native birds and animals and the rugged hillside trails on Tamborine Mountain.
Sighting of kangaroos are common and koala are often seen sleeping the day away in a gum tree beside one of the rough bush tracks.
This trek takes you to Mt Tamborine on a rugged 4WD Track then later in the date into the mountainous regions of World Heritage Listed Lamington National, providing an opportunity to take in the magnificent view of mountains and valleys to the west. At O’Reilly’s Plateau, flocks of colourful native birds are frequently seen and the Treetop Canopy Boardwalk offers visitors a close-up view of this subtropical rainforest area, especially for those who climb the observation tower.
The carefully worked out timetable allows for frequent stops to take in the sweeping views, leisurely walks through the forests, a refreshing dip into a cool mountain rock pool and of course meal breaks. Scones fresh from the oven for morning tea, an Aussie BBQ lunch (your choice of beef steaks, chicken fillets or ocean fish) will satisfy the heartiest appetite.
