For that perfect night out, the Spirit of Melbourne Cruising Restaurant offers a unique experience right in the heart of our vibrant river city. With a stunning city background of colours and lights, delight in a fashionable fusion of international dishes and fine Australian wines, a reflection of the cosmopolitan culture that is Melbourne. Indulge in an extensive four-course meal prepared freshly on board by our gourmet chefs, in a relaxed and intimate setting with personalised service and attention to detail. The Spirit of Melbourne is fully enclosed catering for up to 80 guests.

Entrée Tasting Platter – all items included
Balsamic Glazed Smoked Lamb on mash potato.
Shredded chicken tossed through a sesame glass noodle salad.
Prawn and Scallop cocktail dressed in a creamy seafood sauce.
Main – choice of one per guest, must be preselected at time of booking.
Chicken Breast marinated and chargrilled in a basil pesto atop a corn polenta wedge served with green peas and a porcini cream sauce.
Crispy skinned Salmon Fillet served with a potato rosti, avocado salsa, and caper mayonnaise. (GF).
Chargrilled Beef Eye Fillet garnished with a prawn sitting upon potato pumpkin mash, and broccoli with a creamy garlic jus (served medium) (GF).
Portuguese Lamb Shank with mashed potato and seasonal vegetables. (GF).

Cheese Tasting Platter
A variety of Australian cheeses, dried fruit and nuts to share.

Entrée – Roast pumpkin, spinach and fetta pappardelle pasta served with a napolitana sauce.
Main – Oven baked vegetable filo wrap on a puree of spinach served with a garden salad.
3 hour cruise, 4 course meal, selection of beers, wines and a range of spirits and soft drinks.

Make your way to Berth 3, Southgate, to board by 7.15pm. This is located opposite the Flinders Street Station, on the south side of the River near the Langham Hotel.
Children aged between 3 and 13 years pay the advertised child rate.
Children up to the age of 2 years are free of charge and must be booked as infants.
All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to be able to cruise on the cruising restaurant.
Cruise path is determined by weather and tidal conditions and may be altered on the day.
Menu selections must be selected at the time of booking or will be selected on your behalf by Melbourne River Cruises.
A mobile contact number must be provided at the time of booking. In instances where one is not provided it is required that the guest contact us as soon as possible to confirm their booking.
Guest must call 48 hours before departure to reconfirm details of their cruise.
