Additional Information
With all courses you must complete a dive medical in accordance with our AS (Australian Standard) 4005.1. This can be arranged for you on day 1 of your course. Please be aware that a dive medical from another state/country may not qualify!
Things to Remember The Stress and Rescue Course commences with 2 days of pool and theory work – during which time you arrange your own accommodation and meals.
Daily pick-ups are available from your accommodation.
Important Notes. International Resuscitation courses are acceptable as prerequisite certifications for completion of the SSI Rescue Diver Course.

- Daily pick-ups to and from your city accommodation are available. Transfers from Cairns Northern Beaches are $13 return payable direct. On the first day of your course you will be picked up at 9am.

Tour Description
RESCUE DIVE COURSE
The SSI Stress and Rescue Course is conducted over 5 days and consists of 10 dives in total. All training dives are performed on the fabulous outer Great Barrier Reef onboard the M.V. Kangaroo Explorer.
The Rescue courses start every 2nd Monday – please contact us to determine commencement dates for our next course. The SSI Stress and Rescue Course prepares you for practically any diving situation by teaching you the proper way to take care of yourself and others. Course instruction includes helping you obtain valuable life-saving skills as well as learning CPR.
