Our fantastic guides have come to us with passion for the world of wine and craft beer and share that passion in a way that is appealing to all.

The Yarra Valley is a wonderful, cool climate region just over an hour from Melbourne. It features numerous wineries with different wine making styles. Our tours include three or four venues, providing a fun day out with the opportunity to learn as much or as little about wine making as you like!

Our tours start at the Moet Hennessey owned Domaine Chandon in the heart of the Yarra Valley. A Chandon guide will give you a tour of the winery and discuss the history of Champagne as well as still and sparkling winemaking techniques and practices.

We then will enjoy a full glass of Chandon sparkling wine with nibbles in the picturesque Green Point tasting room. This is followed by a tasting of a range of still and sparkling wines which are produced on the property.

We then move onto the Allan Powell-designed Tarrawarra winery and Art gallery for a private tasting with Tarrawarra staff member of the fantastic Tarrawarra Estate and Tin Cows (a sculpture on the property) ranges of wines. Where possible these tastings are held outside to enjoy the wonderful view of the valley.

We then move inside to enjoy a two-course lunch from the Michael Lambie (Circa, Taxi, Stokehouse) designed menu cooked by resident chef Kevin Henderson.

Our next stop is at the iconic Dominique Portet's for a private tasting in the barrel room or winery of the Bordeaux inspired winery. The small, family owned and run, winery couples French winemaking influences and Dominique's clear passion for the best techniques to fantastic effect. Savoury food friendly wines and a fantastic setting make this stop a favorite.
