Whether you’re an animal and nature lover, or you just want a break from the hustle and bustle of your busy life, this tour has everything needed to create a truly magical getaway.

From your departure point (morning pick up from your Adelaide or Glenelg accommodation), you’ll experience the lovely coastal views along the Fleurieu Peninsula on your way to Kangaroo Island. Relax on the ferry at Cape Jervis and admire the beauty of the Backstairs Passage on your way to Penneshaw – Kangaroo Island’s main ferry port.

The first adventure on the island will be a gentle climb to the top of Prospect Hill, allowing you to take in some of Kangaroo Island’s most inspirational views. Then your day will be jam-packed with enjoyment as you meet friendly sea lions at Seal Bay, kayak down the beautiful Harriet River and try your hand at sandboarding on the white dunes at Little Sahara. You will be amazed at the clarity of the water when you enjoy some swimming and snorkelling at one of the North Coast’s most stunning beaches and you’ll even have the option of a sunset quadbike tour for a small fee!

After such an action-packed day, you’ll love the comfortable accommodation at Flinders Chase. Enjoy a delicious Aussie BBQ or similar mouth-watering delight, before gathering around the campfire to hear the didgeridoo being played, tell campfire stories and socialise with your fellow travellers. While gazing at the awe-inspiring southern starscape, keep your eyes peeled for some of the inquisitive nocturnal wildlife present.

On day two, the infamous Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch will be your first destination, and from here, you’ll be amused by the colony of playful New Zealand Fur Seals. Then, an easy hike through the Flinders Chase National Park will give you the chance to spot even more of South Australia’s wildlife, such as the rarely seen platypus, kangaroos, koalas and echidnas. Finally, you’ll have the chance to relax and reflect on your adventures as you’re ferried back to Cape Jervis on your way back to Adelaide, arriving at around 8.30pm.
