The first half hour of every tour is for setting you up with all the safety gear – a full face helmet, goggles and gloves – and then your guide will give you a safety brief on quad bike operation and get you to complete laps of the practice track until you’re feeling confident to go out on tour!!
No experience is necessary as quads are automatic and easy to use. Each tour is catered to the participants ability so first time and experienced riders are both welcome! Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action is committed to safety and reserves the right to stop any rider from continuing the tour if safety instructions are not followed.

Tour Description
The Dusk Kangaroo Tour is “the best experience on Kangaroo Island”! The tour starts two hours before sunset and because wildlife is more active around dusk we’ll GUARANTEE you’ll see kangaroos up close in their natural environment! We’ll guide you through a range of terrains spotting kangaroos and we may even encounter other wildlife along the way like koalas, echidnas and wallabies! You’ll finish the tour overlooking Vivonne Bay with the sun setting behind you – a magical way to see kangaroos on Kangaroo Island!

A guided quad bike tour with the team at Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action is the best way to see an otherwise inaccessible part of Kangaroo Island!! Ride your own quad bike (ATV) through 500 acres of open grassland and pristine native bush, checking out wildlife and stunning views of the Southern Ocean along the way. All our tours are with experienced and professional guides who can give an informative commentary on wildlife and local area history. There are lots of photo opportunities and possible sightings of Kangaroo Island’s wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, echidnas, wallabies, goannas, birdlife and more!
