Tour Description
Established in 1980, CAIRNS TROPICAL ZOO is the largest and most diverse wildlife attraction in Tropical North Queensland. This locally owned and operated TNQ attraction, now in its 30th year, is situated right on the highway at Palm Cove. It is THE place to meet all of the iconic Australia wildlife, plus some wonderful exotic species.
A morning or afternoon at our Zoo offers visitors the opportunity, during our excellent wildlife presentations, to learn about the life and times of crocodiles, snakes, koalas, wombats, fabulous birds and endangered exotic species such as the Red Panda & Madagascar Lemurs.
Open 08:30am – 4:00pm daily (except Christmas Day - closed; adjusted opening hours on Anzac Day 25/04/2012 1:30pm-5:00pm).
