Departs Cairns, Cairns Northern Beaches and Port Douglas.
Enjoy an unforgettable day of fun, discovery and adventure exploring the majestic rainforests, pristine rivers and white sandy beaches of the World Heritage Listed Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Parks with The Adventure Company's professional, friendly, experienced guides. Cape Tribulation is the only place in the world where two world heritage listed regions live along side each other. The Adventure Company will pick you up from your Cairns, Cairns Northern Beaches or Port Douglas accommodation in a comfortable, air conditioned vehicle for your drive north along one of the most renowned scenic coastal roads in Australia towards the World Heritage Listed Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Parks.
Enjoy a brief tour of Port Douglas and the famous Four Mile Beach, with free time to explore the township. We then continue along the Captain Cook Highway to the majestic Daintree River where you will cross by Cable Ferry. Enjoy a spectacular drive to the Alexandria Lookout where you will have time to take photos of the ainforest clad mountains.
You will arrive at your Cape Tribulation accommodation around lunch time, leaving the afternoon free to explore the region or take part in optional activities.
The 2 Day Stay allows the following morning free at your leisure, with a pick up from your accommodation at approximately 12.30pm.
The 3 Day Stay allows all of day 2, plus the morning of day 3 at your leisure, with a pick up from your accommodation at approximately 12.30pm.
On your return journey from Cape Tribulation, The Adventure Company will take you deep into the National Park to visit one of the specially constructed rainforest and mangrove walks. Your guide will enlighten you to the secrets of the rainforest with informative interpretation of the rainforest, its foods, its medicines and history during your guided walk. Continue the journey onto your one hour river cruise through the Grand and majestic Daintree River. On this wondrous cruise, you will see crocodiles, birds and other wildlife that inhabit the area. Learn about the Mangroves that line the banks, some of which reach amazing heights and learn of their importance as our oceans fish nurseries. Finally, you will return to your accommodation with a brief stop at Rex Lookout if you heading back to Cairns.
