Tour Description
Travel from Cairns via the scenic Cook Highway. Spectacular views following the Coral Sea coast on the 70 km journey to Port Douglas.
From Port Douglas, north through the agricultural town of Mossman, and the surrounding sugar cane fields its a one hour scenic drive to the Daintree Village. After a stop at the village we join a cruise on the Daintree river.
Daintree Rivercruise : View rainforest and river creatures in the wild. The Daintree river is the natural habitat of many species of birds, bats, snakes, reptiles and haunt of the fearsome saltwater esturine crocodile.
Mossman Gorge : Enjoy two hours free time to explore the rainforest trails of the pristine Mossman Gorge. Swim in the cool crystal rock pools of the Mossman River.
