This is a great tour where you certainly see all that Phillip Island has to offer. It is famous for the Penguin Parade but there are lots of other animals to see at Australian Wildlife Park and at Seal Rocks you will encounter the lovely Fur Seals. For those who love the famous car race, you will visit the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. The spectacular coast line will amaze you also.
Watch as the world's smallest penguins waddle their way out of the waves and on to the golden sand to burrow for the night and witness the majesty of Seal Rocks, breeding ground to thousands of Australian Fur Seals. This day tour includes a complimentary picnic as well as some close encounters with the colourful native animals of the Australian Wildlife Park.
• Get up close and personal with the weird and wonderful native wildlife, including kangaroos, koalas, wombats, emus, dingos, and the distinctly colourful characters of our native birdlife
• Check out where the action happens at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit
• Visit the stunning rock formations of Seal Rocks, where thousands of Australian Fur Seals overlook the Bass Strait and bring up their seal pups - you can even watch them sunbathing
• Explore the award-winning eco-tourism centre of Nobbies Centre at Point Grant
• Watch the powerful force of the ocean create an awe-inspiring blow hole, and observe how the thunderous surf crashes against the sheer cliff face on Australia's rugged coastline
This spectacular one-day tour makes the most of every minute. We start by meeting the locals at the Australian Wildlife Park. You'll come face-to-face with Australia's finest fleet of native animals, from Kangaroos, to the smaller wallabies that hop over the hills casting shadows as the sun rises. A photographer's dream, get your camera out to capture the crimson and golden feathers of the native parrots and other wildlife. Don't look up too long though, as you're sure to miss the emus and other ground-dwelling specimens that will want to say hello for a feed.
Our next stop is the rugged coastline of Woolamai Beach, where the ancient pink granite sets the ideal backdrop for the white crashing waves. The beach has recently been declared a National Surfing Reserve due to its rich surfing heritage and golden, sweeping plains of pristine sand.
We slow down to watch where the world speeds up as we poke around where the action happens at Phillip Island's Moto GP track. After the official Moto GP track, we take a summer optional stop at Swan Lake. During summer, Swan Lake's many hidden platforms allow human activity to go unnoticed while wetland birds and swamp wallabies go about their business.
Next up we visit the Nobbies Centre, an award-winning eco-tourism centre where you can explore the region's environmental and geographical wonders. We head outdoors to see the powerful force of the ocean creating a majestic blowhole. Not to be missed, we will take in the awe-inspiring sight of Seal Rocks, where thousands of Australian Fur Seals sunbathe and bring up their seal pups over the breathtaking views of the Bass Strait. We then watch the roaring surf crash against the sheer cliff face of the Summerlands.
Our final stop is the magical world of the tiny 'little penguin'. As the sun sets over the golden sands of Phillip Island, these 30-centimetre penguins parade out of the surf to nestle into their comfy burrows for a good night's rest. Opt for the Penguin Parade Plus Package to get even closer to these waddling wonders, with the opportunity for exclusive viewing and long-lasting memories.
