Experience this unique day tour learning of our area’s rich Aboriginal history and culture, combined with the oldest living rainforest on the planet and the spectacular Niau Falls.

Travel north on one of Australia’s most scenic coastal drives where it’s time to get native as you join the Kubirri Warra brothers of Kuku Yalanji Cultural Habitat Tours at Cooya Beach. Walk with Linc and Brendan Walker on one of their beach, mudflat and mangrove walks! Today the brothers teach their guests how to throw a spear, hunt whilst stalking and observing wildlife and country, and how to track coastal resources. The brothers follow the traditions of their ancestors who, for thousands of years educated visitors about their traditional country in order to ensure the survival of their culture. Enjoy morning tea, fresh made damper, tea/coffee.

We continue north to the Daintree Village which is nestled on the banks of the mighty Daintree River for a 1 hour Daintree River Cruise. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing to the spectacular Niau Falls and Tranquility on the Daintree a secluded 450acre private property. The Niau falls are a pristine natural wonder waiting for you to discover.

You will see strange, primitive plants and learn about the original French settler family. Hear of their incredible story of survival. Your guided walk will unlock the secrets of this fascinating eco-system as you walk though the world's oldest rainforest and marvel at its beauty. Time for a swim (don’t forget your swimmers)
