PORT ARTHUR, RICHMOND VILLAGE & THE TASMAN PENINSULA
Take a day out to visit to the World Heritage listed Port Arthur Historic Site, famous Richmond Village & the stunning Tasman Peninsula.
We begin with a stop at the famous village of Richmond, explore the beautiful historic buildings including the oldest Gaol, Catholic Church and oldest bridge in Australia.
Then we head south to the Tasman Peninsula with its spectacular views and coastal features, check out the fantastic Pirates Bay Lookout, Eaglehawk Neck and the dramatic natural features of the Tasman Arch & Devils Kitchen.
Its then onto the fascinating ruins of Port Arthur, Australia's number 1 historic site and Tasmania's most visited destination!
Port Arthur is a must see for those interested in the way Australia was settled originally as a penal settlement. Learn about the life of a convict in a place once considered "Hell On Earth".
We give you maximum time to explore this famous tourist attraction, you will also have the opportunity while you're there to view the site as the convicts once did - from aboard a cruise boat on the harbour and see the tiny convict cemetery island where the prisoners were buried.
