DAY TOUR - CRADLE MOUNTAIN WORLD HERITAGE TOUR
CRADLE MOUNTAIN WORLD HERITAGE AREA
Spend time today exploring Cradle Mountain, Tasmania’s favourite dramatic mountain peak and the focal point in this World Heritage listed area. Immerse yourself fully in the home of Tasmania’s (and Australia’s) best bushwalking trails.
Travel from Launceston to Cradle Mountain via the beautiful farm lands & delightful small towns of Northern Tasmania.
One of our first stops is the famous Sheffield "the town of murals", stroll around this delightful town and check out the distinct murals from local artists that make Sheffield famous in Tasmania.
Arriving at Cradle mountain we allow the maximum amount of time to enjoy this magic National park, take one of the numerous short rainforest walks in the area &
enjoy an easy walk around the stunning Dove Lake (around 2 hours) or tackle a more challenging walk up to Marion's Lookout (3 hours) during some free walking time.
Cradle Mountain with its famous peak and dramatic surronding mountains & lakes is stunning in all types of weather, so take your camera, a raincoat, comfortable walking shoes to really get the most out of your time there.
Head back to Launceston at the end of a fantastic day out.
