$10 pp insurance levy payable direct to operator. If you require transfers ex Cairns the cost is $30pp from Cairns. Payment direct to Foaming Fury Tours on the day of travel. Pick up time is 10.50am from Cairns and departs Port Douglas at 6.30pm.

- 2.5 hr guided Beach & Rainforest ride, refreshments at conclusion of the ride.
- What to bring:
- Pleae ensure you wear long pants, a short sleeved shirt (no singlets) and bring along a pair of socks, as well as your camera.

- Pick ups for the morning ride commence in Port Douglas at 7.50am and 1.45pm for the afternoon ride. Self Drivers need to make their way to the stable by 8.30am for the morning ride and 2.20pm for the afternoon ride. Transfers from Cairns (morning ride preferred) commence at 6.50am....please call for further details and afternoon transfer options.

Tour Description
There is something therapeutic about exploring the natural environment on horseback. Escape the everyday as we ride through two natural wonders of the world – the pristine Daintree Rainforest and the beautiful Wonga Beach with Wonga Beach Horse Rides. Locally owned and operated, Wonga Beach Horse Rides operate horse trail rides in one of the world’s most scenic settings. For just under three hours, you can choose to walk, trot or canter along the golden sands and through the water of Wonga Beach followed by a gentle ride through the stunning Daintree rainforest and a tropical fruit orchard. There are two sessions a day – 8.30am for the early risers or 2.30 for those who want to ride into the sunset!
The rides can be enjoyed by all whether you are a beginner or skilled rider with the Wonga Beach team ensuring all are partnered with a horse that suitably reflects their riding ability. Boots, helmets and suitable clothing (if required) are provided on arrival and everyone undertakes a short lesson in horsemanship before getting underway! Transfers from Port Douglas are available at $10pp r/t and transfers ex Cairns can also be arranged at additional charge.
