About Daintree Wildlife with Chris Dahlberg

Chris enjoys making the extra effort to get out early when the wildlife can be seen and this is one of the reasons he is the only Daintree operator to be recommended in the prestigeous Lonely Planet "Watching Wildlife Australia" book.

Tour Description
See and hear Daintree's magical wildlife with Chris Dahlberg by boat on the Daintree River at daybreak. In just two hours Chris Dahlberg will show you an average of 50 wildlife species, a feat that cannot be done later in the day. The wildlife seen and heard on your tour is listed and then uploaded to the internet before lunch time and stays there forever as a momento of your tour and for research purposes.
Birdwatchers often come on this tour and Chris is known locally as the Birdman of Daintree. It is an ideal opportunity to see and get close to some of the more secretive wildlife species like the Great-billed Heron, Little and Azure Kingfishers, Black Bitterns and Papuan Frogmouths.
