Tour Description
If you are an experienced motorcycle rider, we know that passenger tours are not for you. Come and enjoy one of our self ride tours using a late model Motorcycle and explore the scenic wonders of the Uluru / Kata Tjuta National Park and Beyond.
All self ride tours require a $2500 insurance deposit and an open class motorcycle licence, either Australian or an International licence. The price quoted includes both comprehensive and third party insurance, fuel, oils, and any maintenance costs involved.
Suggestion 1 - This is a touring enthusiasts dream. Approximately 600km of excellent sealed road cruising from Ayers Rock Resort to one of Central Australia's other well known attractions, Kings Canyon. With refreshment stops along the way and lunch at Kings Creek Station(at your own cost), this tour will give you the opportunity to walk around the 7 km rim of the canyon. For the less energetic, take a leisurely stroll through the large gums and cycad palms scattered amongst the boulder-strewn canyon floor.
Suggestion 2 – Enjoy the wonders of The Olgas in the morning. Try out a great Aussie lunch at Curtin Springs(at your own cost), and finish with sunset at Ayers Rock before returning to Ayers Rock Resort.
