This exciting ten-hour tour to the Blue Mountains allows you to delight in gorgeous natural beauty and choose whether you’d like to pay a little extra to meet some Aussie animals, enjoy Scenic World or learn about Indigenous Australians. The trip home is a cruise where you will see the famous landmarks of Sydney.

  • Relax in gorgeous surrounds, soaking up the atmosphere of the rainforest, rock formations, waterfalls, canyons, flora and fauna of the Blue Mountains
  • Create the trip of your choice by deciding if you’d like to participate in three paid options or the unpaid options (which are equally as good)
  • Light Refreshment and a River & Harbour Cruise is included
  • Passionate and friendly tour guides will entertain you along the way

This amazing tour lets you choose the options that best suit you. You have three separate times out of eight location options where you can alter your experience at your own cost, or continue on with the main tour for free. Read on to see what your options are.

With accommodation pickups from either inner Sydney, Bondi, Manly, Coogee, Glebe, Kings Cross or Darling Harbour during the morning, you’ll settle into your comfortable tour bus seat and watch the scenery as you travel out of the city towards the Blue Mountains. Just out of Sydney, you’ll have your first chance to choose an experience...

Koala Sanctuary Park OR Cumberland State Forest
Your choice of spending time with some of Australia’s cutest critters for a small cost, or enjoy a leisurely walk through the gorgeous urban forest – Cumberland State Forest – for free as part of the tour.

The Koala Sanctuary Park is a koala conservation area and one of the few places you can see koalas in a natural setting and hand-feed them too. With the aim of preventing the extinction of Australia’s favourite marsupial, the park has been running since 1930 and also includes other native species, such as kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, dingoes, echidnas, emus, kookaburras and more. The approximate costs associated with this option are $27 per adult and $15 per child and must be made in cash on the day.

The 40 hectare Cumberland State Forest is located in the Western suburbs of Sydney and is a lush greenbelt in which you can walk along either the ‘Forestry Trail’, the ‘Palm Gully Trail’ or the ‘Sensory Trail’.

After you complete your chosen activity, you’ll enjoy delicious light refreshments beside the beautiful Nepean River.

Next, you’ll pay a visit to the quaint mountain town of Katoomba, where you’ll again be given a choice of activities.

Scenic World OR Free Time
Choose the free option, spending some free time exploring this beautiful area (after consulting with your guide), or enjoy all of the activities at Scenic World for a fee.

Scenic World is the gateway all the fun at the Blue Mountains and is one of Australia’s most popular tourist locations. Here, you can choose from a number of activities – such as the Skyway, the Cableway, the Railway (the steepest railway in the world) or the Walkway (the longest elevated boardwalk in the country). You can do all of this for approximately $39 for adults and $21 for children. Cash payments only.

Lunch is at your own expense and is purchased in Leura (lots of choice)

Waradah Aboriginal Centre OR the Three Sisters at Echo Point

The next choice you’ll be given will be the Waradah Aboriginal Centre for a cost, or a walk out to the Three Sisters for free.

Those choosing Waradah will experience the Indigenous Australian culture through a number of presentations, such as didgeridoo performances, dancing and singing, artworks, stories and interpretive explanations of the Indigenous way of life. Cash payments for this will be $20 for adults or $15 for children.

Alternatively, you can walk down to the top of the Giant Stairway to see the iconic Three Sisters – Meeni (922 metres tall), Wimlah (918 metres) and Gunnedoo (906 metres). These amazing views are the perfect photo opportunity and this option is free.

Next, you’ll visit the cute little town of Leura, before departing for home. After passing through the Sydney Olympic Park, you’ll enjoy a relaxing cruise along the delightful Parramatta River to Circular Quay, where your tour finishes, arriving at approximately 7 pm.
