Experience the breath-taking natural beauty and unique wildlife that makes Australia a world-class tourist destination as you travel the Victorian coastline on our Great Ocean Road and Grampians adventure.
Our Great Ocean Road and Grampians adventure tours depart from Melbourne every Tuesday and Friday morning. In summer, from November to March, we also run additional tours departing on Sunday. This is great for you because it allows you to choose whichever day best fits into your itinerary. What's more, we can pick you up from your place of accommodation anywhere in inner-city Melbourne or St Kilda. That means if you're flying in from out of town, you won't have to worry about booking additional transport.
From there, you'll travel west through Geelong, Victoria’s second largest city, before heading south down the coast to the beautiful seaside towns of Torquay, Lorne, and Apollo Bay. While camping along the Great Ocean Road, you'll have plenty of opportunities to get up close and personal with kangaroos, koalas, and other native wildlife.
On your second day, you'll explore the world-famous limestone rock stacks at Port Campbell National Park, experience the majesty of the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge, and take a scenic nature walk through Grampians National Park.
You'll finish your tour by learning about aboriginal heritage at the Brambuk Cultural Centre, visiting the spectacular Mackenzie Waterfalls, and admiring the stunning mountain views from Reid’s Lookout. You'll return to Melbourne via the historic gold-mining town of Ballarat, or if you prefer, you can connect directly to Adelaide.
We provide you with breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout your tour, so there's no need to pack your own meals - just bring along some snacks for the road. What's more, our package also includes park entrance fees, so you can relax knowing you won't be hit with any unexpected costs during your trip.
You'll be offered a choice of accommodation to suit your personal preferences. Adventurous tour-goers are encouraged to camp out beneath the Southern Cross, while more comfort-loving travellers have the option of upgrading to either a shared or double room. If you've never been camping before, or your camping trips can best be described as occasional, why not be smart and take advantage of our handy sleeping bag hire? What's great about this service is that you won't blow your budget on expensive equipment you're unlikely to use again.
Tour groups are kept small. That's good for you because it means you'll have more time to explore each destination. You'll also get to know our friendly and informative tour guides, and see places that many of the bigger operators can't get to. The really good news, though, is that this tour is available to everyone aged 12 and over, no matter their level of fitness, so you don't have to be an exercise junkie to make the most of this experience.
This tour is perfect for nature lovers and eco-conscious travellers, as it's environmentally friendly and carbon balanced. So while you're immersing yourself in the untouched beauty of these picturesque locales, you can rest assured that all you'll be leaving behind are your footprints.
With tours departing weekly, it's never too late to discover why the Great Ocean Road is becoming one of Australia's most popular tourist destinations. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, an animal lover, or a history buff, this is one experience you can't afford to miss. Book now and start your adventure today!
