The Litchfield Wanderer is for those who don't mind a bit of adventure mixed in with a fair bit of uncertainty !
Run during the buildup and wet season anything is possible as unpredictable and often spectacular weather patterns dominate the Top End.
Heat and humidity are the name of the game as we search out those cool spots to swim, relax and marvel at the wild north.
Get away from the city and come on a true adventure !
Day begins around 730 am with pickups in the city and a straight drive out to Litchfield National Park.
Once there we enjoy morning tea amidst the iconic Cathedral and Magnetic Termite mounds of the north.
Looking at the weather and environmental conditions we make our plan for the rest of the day. Possible scenario may see us at Florence Falls for a swim or lookout before taking a liesurely stroll along Florence Creek to Buley Rockhole.
Maybe follow this up with a spectacular viewing opportunity at the Tallest Falls in the park, Tolmer Falls. From here we peer into the far distance imagining life of those that came before us.
As lunch grows nearer Wangi Falls is a great place for a picnic. Here we might go for a swim in the double waterfalls, hike over the top of just relax again take it all in. If bush survival is of interest let us introduce you to some of the native plants and their uses also ... plenty to do and see !
With lunch done and all satsified we turn for home aiming to get back to the city around 3pm.

From Oct to April the weather is hot (37dc) and humid (>80%). Please ensure you are OK with that before deciding to come on this adventure :)
