Bruny Island could just be the highlight of your Tassie holiday. It has spectacular scenery, animals (you may be lucky to see the Albino Wallaby) and then there is the amazing food. Yes you do get to try it! So much great produce comes from this beautiful little island.
Your tour begins and ends in Hobart, departing before 7.30am and returning at approximately 5.30pm. Your tour guide will be with you all day and on the same tour bus, so no confusing transfers. Enjoy a scenic 20 minute water crossing to Bruny Island where you are likely to see seals and penguins frolicking in the bays.
Your journey begins once on the island. Your first stop will be at the Neck Reserve, where you will experience amazing 360 degree views of the island and beaches that stretch up both sides of the Neck.
After this guests will travel many of the islands food venues, rainforests and gravel roads to reach the South Bruny National Park. Here you can enjoy your free lighthouse tour and some of Tasmania's most dramatic coastlines.
Visit a cheese factory, oyster farm factory outlet, lighthouse station, national park, berry farm (Seasonal) and chocolate shop.
