This tour brings together the wildlife rich areas of the Fogg Dam Conservation Area and the Mary River.

Fogg Dam there have been over 230 different species of birds recorded, has the highest density biomass of predator animals anywhere in the world and features wetlands, floodplains, rainforrest and woodlands touching each other ... what a place !

What more is there ?

Greet the outback sunrise as you are picked up from your hotel around 0600 am and relax in our comfortable Mercedez touring vehicle.

As the warm golden rays highlight the red tones of the landscape, you’ll head south on your way to Fogg Dam Conservation Area.

Here you will learn some of the bush foods and medicine plants of the Top End in the presence of nature at its finest.

Wander along the lilly boardwalk or take advantage of the lookout points as the Top End fauna puts on the show. With over 230 different species of birds recorded here you are bound to find a favourite.

Plenty of time for photos or to just sit and watch the wild antics as you sip on a lovely cup of tea whilst enjoying our homemade mango muffins.

Having set the scene we then move on to Corroboree Billabong on the wild Mary River. Here we enjoy a 1.5 hour cruise as we view nature in its natural state.

Snakes, crocodiles and more are regular features on this cruise so come prepared.

Having answered the call of the wild we then regroup at the Corroboree Tavern for some outback lunch before making our way back to Darwin.

Getting back into the City around 2 pm.
