Travel to the historic village of Richmond, visit Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to see Tasmanian devils and enjoy local produce tasting at Coal River Farm.
Across the River Derwent, we head to the historic village of Richmond to relax for lunch and time to explore the village. Richmond is steeped in history and a hub for food and wine lovers. Walk to the Richmond Bridge, the oldest bridge still in use in Australia, learn about its history and feed the local ducks.
Next we head to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary where we come face to face with the iconic Tasmanian devil, meet some friendly wombats and even pat a kangaroo. A short drive brings us to the Coal River Farm, for a private local produce tasting, before returning to Hobart via a scenic city lookout.

We pick up from any centrally located Hotel or Hostel. If you aren't staying in a hotel, we can arrange to collect you from the Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre on Davey Street.
What to bring:
-Comfortable trail walking shoes
-Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
-Clothes to suit conditions (layers are a good idea)
-Waterproof jacket (just in case)
No children under 8 years. All children 8 and over pay the adult rate.
