Tour Description
Learn Camping on our Kids Camping Weekend.
Here is a great opportunity to take the kids camping. Kids love camping holidays and sometimes single parent family vacations are hard to organise. We take all the hard work out of it for you and not only will you and the kids have a great time, the kids will learn camping techniques.
The weekend is not exclusively for kids camping or single parent family vacations, but it is a great opportunity to introduce the kids into camping.
Sometimes, it is too hard to organise tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, pillows, food, where to stay etc. Sometimes single parents do not have the confidence to take their kids camping.
The weekend includes -

• Tour of Jewel Cave at Margaret River
• Winery at Margaret River
• Margaret River Chocolate Factory
• Gnomesville
• Honeymoon Pool
• Camping holiday accommodation in comfortable tents with superior quality mattress, sleeping bags and pillows all supplied.

Day 1: Perth – Honeymoon Pool
Our morning sees us leaving the departure point at Wellington Street tourist bus area (opposite Queen Street) in Perth at 7.00am for our camping holiday weekend. We travel South down Kwinana Freeway calling to Margaret River Chocolate Factory – then onto Jewel Cave for a guided tour through this magnificent cave. Lunch time - then we visit one of the wineries for which Margaret River is famous for. Then onwards to Gnomesville for a visit and stopping at Honeymoon Pool for the night where the kids will learn camping skills like how to put up the tent etc. L/D
Day 2: Honeymoon Pool - Home
A leisurely breakfast gives us a chance to enjoy this lovely area. We leave just before lunch calling into Wellington Dam for lunch, and then make the trip back home arriving back about 6pm. B/L
We will leave most weekends, but if you have progressed from a weekend tour have a look at where else you can take the kids camping on some of our other tours.
