    The most convenient and hassle free way to get to the Blue Mountains where you can join the Blue Mountains Explorer Bus is via train from Sydney's Central Station. Monday to Friday, the 7:23am Blue Mountains train from Sydney Central Station will land you right on the doorstep of our booking office just in time for our first departure. On weekends and public holidays, this train departs at 7:22am.

    You will need to purchase an Opal Card to for your train journey. You can pick one up at Sydney's Central Station or one of the many Opal card retailers around Sydney. The Opal Card fare is just over $5 each way.

    When you get off the train, walk straight down the ramp and turn right following the "Blue Mountains Explorer Bus" signs. You'll see us right at the top of the station steps – just look for the shop with bright red bus in the window! Collect your Explorer Bus Pass and free Guidebook from our smiling reception staff, perhaps grab a coffee or some picnic supplies, then jump aboard and say "Hi" to your friendly Explorer Bus driver.

    It can get cool in the Blue Mountains so bring a jacket. It can be quite a few degrees colder than Sydney.
