Our first stop today are the beautiful Mamukala Wetlands, in the South Alligator Region. Home to an array of wetland birds including thousands of Magpie Geese, Wandering and Whistling Ducks, Green- Pygmy Geese and Australian Pelicans, the wetlands can be viewed from an observation platform.
We need to stop briefly at the Bowali Visitor Centre (a permit condition for Photography groups), and then continue to the very north of the park and Ubirr.
