The Southern tip of Western Australia is a must see. Travel along the rugged coastline, drive through ancient forests and stop at amazing sites created by nature. We also stop for wine tasting in the famous Margaret River! Visit the most western point of Australia, Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, where the Indian & Southern Oceans meet!
Day 1: Perth to Albany
Albany is s port city at the southern tip of Western Australia. The rugged coastline and diverse coastline of Albany makes a beautiful backdrop to this charming city.
Day one starts with heading south through the Jarrah forest, an interim Australian bioregion located in Western Australia. While you go through sheep farming country we will arrive in the stunning Stirling Ranges for lunch. Next to Castle Rock renowned tourist attraction for its flora and fauna in the Porongurups to climb Castle Rock and enjoy the breath-taking skywalk. End the day with beautiful sunset at Mount Clarence (L,D).
Day 2 - Albany to Augusta
Today we will see and do a lot! We will Explore the natural marvels of The Gap, Natural Bridge and Blowholes and head west to William Bay National Park for a swim at Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks. Next is the Valley of the Giants and Ancient Empire for the stunning Tree Top Walk and the canopy of the Red Tingle Trees. Enjoy lunch before we visit the fire lookout tree that’s yours to climb… if you dare. Next is Augusta township for our overnight stay.(B,L,D)
Day 3: Augusta to Perth
Situated at the most south-westerly point of Australia, Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia, also the point where the Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean. The tour also includes the visit to Cape Leeuwin caves, Margaret River’s winery, Prevelly Beach and Surfers Point and the final stop before arriving back in Perth, the Busselton Jetty (B,L).
