Tour Description
The afternoon cruise runs from 2.30pm to 4pm on weekdays. We take you on a cruise through the beautiful mangrove forest behind Port Douglas. The wildlife we hope to find includes saltwater crocodiles, white bellied sea-eagles, brahminy kites and a multitude of wading birds. After exploring the mangrove area we head out along the waterfront and tell you about the history of Port. Throughout the cruise there are stunning views of the mountainous Daintree area to the north and from the waterfront you can normally see Low Isles and Snapper Island. The tour includes a beer, wine or champagne or coffee and tea (both locally grown) or juice/water for children and also lamingtons and savoury nibbles.
