Tour Description
Ride along the historic Annan Road which was Cooktown's first passage way from the South.
Then take the back suburb bush trails to Finch Bay, Cooktown's pristine little beach.
Then it's along the old roads past the Historic Botanical Gardens to Charlotte Street and the pubs. Drop into the Historic West Coast Hotel and/or the famous Top Pub with your horse for a coldie before heading off back home.
There is a fair bit of riding along roads so a medium level of horse riding experience is essential.
The route to the beach may change depending on the tides.
