For all tours booked for travel prior to March 31, 2010 a $10 per person insurance levy is applicable.
- What to bring:
- Please ensure you wear long pants (preferably jeans), enclosed shoes, and sleeved shirt. Sunscreen is recommended. We will provide you with safety equipment. Loan clothing is available however supply is limited.

- We cater for all experience levels. Child age group is 5 to 15yrs Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Persons under 18, must have a parent / guardian sign an acknowledgement of risk form issued by the Horse Riding Council of Australia.

- Customers will be picked up from thier accommodation reception area at the following times: Cairns City - 12:15 - 12:30pm | Northern Beaches - 12:30 - 12:45pm | Kuranda - 12:45 - 1:00pm Return to accommodation is approximately at the following times: Kuranda - 3:45 - 4:00pm| Northern Beaches - 4:00 - 4:15pm | Cairns City - 4:15 - 4:30pm * Pickup / return times are approximate and usually quite accurate, however, time may be delayed due to traffic or other conditions beyind our control. Please consider this if booking another tour prior to or following this tour.

Tour Description
Take a guided horse riding adventure tour through our unspoilt natural tropical rainforest wonderland, which borders open eucalypt woodlands and natural freshwater creeks and streams. Billabong Horseback Adventures is also habitat to many native animals such as the Cassowary, Bush Turkey, Wallaby, Paddemelon, Lace Monitor & the famous Ulysses Blue butterfly.
Along your journey through one of the oldest known rainforests in th world you will also come across giant strangler fig trees, be taken to amazing lookouts 500m above sea level, and view spectacular scenery of the surrounding state forest & kuranda valley.
Billabong Horseback Adventures caters for all experience levels and focuses particularly on operating small groups to make your tour more personallised, and not make you feel lost among a crowd. Infact, in any one group there will only ever be a maximium of 6 riders, accompanied by 2 experienced riding guides whom will instruct you on how to ride a horse, and answer an questions you may have during the tour. They will make sure that at all times you feel comfortable and do anything possible to ensure your adventure with us is unforgettable experience that you will want to return to again and again.
Following your tour, you will return to our billabong, and outback setting where freshly made morning tea, and refreshments will be served.
