This fabulous four-day tour departs every Tuesday at around 6:45 am, from the green bus shelter at the Wellington Tourist Coach Stand, Perth, or from your Perth accommodation at about 6:40 am. Join your fellow happy travellers and your experienced guide on an adventure you will remember for a lifetime. Heading south, you will first stop at the 1.8 km long Busselton Jetty for a delicious morning tea in picturesque surrounds. Next, you’ll enjoy a lovely stop at Canal Rocks, a peruse at sheep dogs at work and a shearing demonstration. Sample local wines, pop into Margaret River township, travel through Boranup Forest – what a great way to start this tour! Afterwards, get ready for a delicious dinner and bed in the Augusta Hotel Motel.
During day two, you’ll start the day off by heading to Surfers Point Lookout and surf beach. Stand on the furthest south western point of Australia at Cape Leeuwin and inspect the waterwheel and lighthouse. Travelling through the tall timber country of Karri Valley, take time to spot native flora, fauna and birdlife. You can climb Bicentennial Tree for the best seat in the house. Feast on a delicious Aussie BBQ dinner and enjoy overnight accommodation at the Karri Valley Resort.
On day three, you will head off to view the magnificent Giant Tingle Tree. While here in the Valley of the Giants, you’ll get to experience the spectacular Tree Top Walk – an integrated boardwalk and platform 40 metres above the forest floor high in the forest treetops – then stroll under the canopy in the Ancient Empire. Revitalise with a swim or walk at Greens Pool or Elephant Rocks. Visit the rugged coastline architecture of Natural Bridge and The Gap, then it’s up atop Mt Clarence for fantastic views of Albany and surrounds. Accommodation and a scrumptious dinner awaits at the Albany Motel.
Heading home the next day, you’ll visit the unique Mt Romance the sandalwood oil attraction to indulge in the scent of Mother Nature. Climb, walk, stroll, photograph or just relax in the Porongorups. See Castle Rock, the precariously hung Balancing Rock or stoic Rock Tree.
Sample and enjoy some superb local wines. Travel through picture perfect sheep and farming countryside and see seasonal wildflowers bloom and dance in the warm breeze. You’ll then be returned to your original pickup location.
