Noosa Stand Up Paddle operates on the flat water of the Noosa River at Noosaville, which is about as forgiving a place to learn as you will find. Boards are available by the hour or the day, ranging from seven foot to twelve foot six, so there is something that suits both a first-timer and someone who already paddles. Private lessons pair coaching with a guided paddle and are built around your level. Group lessons start on land to get technique sorted, then include an hour of board hire to practise. Guided options include a sunset paddle through the mangroves and an eco river tour of the quieter reaches. SUP yoga classes run for those after something slower. Life jackets and instruction are included, and tours are sized to ability rather than run to a fixed pace.
