ROTTNEST ISLAND SHIPWRECK DISCOVERY TOUR Throughout the early colonisation of Western Australia, Rottnest was know as ‘The Brick on Fremantle’s doorstep’ and it is well earned with over 20 shipwrecks littering the waters off Rottnest Island. Some wrecks lie in over 20 metres of water for the adventure diver, while others sit at only 5 metres for the rest of us to enjoy. Our crew can put you right on the wrecks to maximise your dive or snorkel time and can even regale the sites history if you are so inclined! Come onboard Capella – Rottnest’s very own sailing catamaran. Perfect for either a leisurely afternoon or an exhilarating sailing experience. You are welcome to do as much or as little as you want as we sail around to a secluded bay stopping to discover wildlife on the way. Rottnest Island Dive Charters We offer a variety of dive packages aboard our 43ft Catamaran SV Capella. Between September and May each year we offer dive trips around Rottnest Island, In May and September we offer liveaboard trips to the Abrohlos Islands and June, July, August we offer liveaboad dive charters around the Murion and Serrurier Islands north of Exmouth – on the northern most tip of Ningaloo Reef. Come on board Capella and wake up to the best view on the island – With the sparkling water right outside your cabin window! Capella is surveyed to take up to 10 guests and 3 crew overnight. She boasts 2 luxurious staterooms (1 with a large ensuite), 2 double cabins and another double cabin adjoining one of the staterooms (ideal for families). There is another toilet and shower located onboard and 2 other hot and cold showers on the back deck. Charter 1 offers a special accommodation option in Thomson Bay – perfect for a couples romantic getaway or for getting a group of friends and family onboard and getting a taste of what being a “boatie” is all about! Rottnest Island Twilight Cruise Capella provides the best view of the setting sun over the magnificent Indian Ocean and Rottnest Island. Enjoy a chilled beverage and some nibbles as we sail off into the sunset – Stopping for a refreshing dip for those that want a quick cool down on balmy nights.
