Skydive Australia proudly sports the best safety record in Australia, has been operating since 1981, and, now boasts 4 fantastic drop zones along the eastern seaboard of Australia. Simply book your 11,000ft jump for your preferred date and then give us a call 48hrs prior to your jump to confirm the location you'd like to jump.
Cairns offers fantastic views of the tropical rainforest and Great Barrier Reef with a backdrop of the city; Mission Beach is regarded as the premier beach landing site in the Southern Hemisphere with glorious views of the coral sea and a soft beach landing; Byron Bay is one of the most popular drop zones in Australia and has the honour of being the most easterly point this side of New Zealand; and Coffs Harbour is now the fastest growing option for tandem skydiving in the country ... so you really are spoiled for choice !
Your day begins with a free pick-up* from your accommodation (make sure you tell us where you're staying), a basic training and brief safety session with one of our highly trained Tandem Masters'. Then it's off to the airport for a fantastic scenic flight, each drop zone offering something unique to see, for upto 20mins before hitting the "green light" 11,000ft mark... Then "it's showtime" ... 220kph straight down for upto 40 seconds of heart-stopping adrenalin packed fun... your instructor deploys the chute at around 4000ft allowing heaps of time to soar like a bird and take in the spectacular views while under canopy. Once safely back on the ground (and we DO boast a 100% safety record) you can collect your complimentary certificate, and any multi-media options you may have purchased (dvd and digital photos available) before we drop you back to your accommodation, free of charge, to boast to all your buddies about how you "pushed the envelope with Skydive Australia" ....
You should allow half a day for your jump but if you are pressed for time, please let us know and we will certainly try to accommodate you.
