Tour Description

A day to Remember.

Your Australian experience begins with a free CBD Hotel pick up, before heading west, following in the footsteps of this country's early explorers.

Our First stop is at Featherdale, this award winning wildlife park, gets you up close with some of Australia's cutest native animals. Here you can cuddle a Koala, hand feed Kangaroos, and get close to our national symbol - the inquisitive emus. There is also crocodiles, wombats and countless bird species - So don't forget your Camera!! here we have tea and coffee included.

The journey continues with a stop at a reserve. This spot was returned to the Aboriginal owners and so it is only fitting that here you have the opportunity to try your hand at the ancient art of Boomerang throwing and learn about the early inhabitants of this wonderful vast land.

We continue our journey west and head over the mountains ranges right into the heart of the Blue Mountains. Here we start with an easy guided walk to a spectacular cliff lookout (a spot off the beaten track) providing splendid panoramic views of the breathtaking Jamison Valley - a photographer's paradise with its sheer sandstone cliffs coloured rust and pink, and lush subtropical rainforest beneath.

You are then treated to a delicious two course lunch at a serene Country Club - where the wonderful food is equally matched with spectacular views (Most dietary requirements catered for).

After Lunch we head to the capital of the magnificent Mountains - Katoomba. Here you can stand beneath the towering Three Sisters, guardian of the Jamison Valley, and allow yourself to be immersed with the enormity of nature's beauty.

It is here that the thrill of descending to the valley floor awaits. Ride the steepest incline Railway in the world, travelling 545 metre into the World Heritage Listed rainforest of the Jamison Valley down to a lush and hidden valley. Here you will enjoy a guided walk as you follow the boardwalk beneath the temperate rainforest canopy. Both the Scenic Railway (the steepest track in the world) and the Flyway Cable Car rides (valued at $19.00) are included.

Then we explore the historic township of Leura - Famous for its charming antique shops, fine coffee and the famous Candy Store - an old time lolly shop with a unique range of sweets and chocolates from all over the world.

Then our journey home takes us past the Sydney Olympic Park, site of the 2000 Olympic Games featuring state of the art sporting venues, and now a great place for leisure, sport, education and business.

A Journey to Sydney would not be complete without a ride on our famous Ferries. Your journey home includes a ferry ride from Homebush Bay, travelling along the famous Parramatta River (an important river in Australia's Colonial history).

Enjoy the tranquil waters of Sydney Harbour as we glide past some impressive landmarks including the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, past the Opera House onto the final destination - Circular Quay.
