Tour Description
Visit the South Australian premium wine region, the Barossa Valley, to sample some of the Barossa’s finest wines. Wind your way through the picturesque Adelaide Hills to Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest German settlement, where you will enjoy lunch and have free time to explore the township. Your afternoon continues onto Cleland Wildlife Park for the chance to hold a koala, feed the kangaroos and see Australian wildlife in its natural habitat.

Itinerary:
Travel to the Barossa Valley, enjoy the change of scenery as you make your way into the vineyards of South Australia’s Premium wine district. Your first stop is the World Famous Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre where you will have the opportunity to sample their famous wines and enjoy morning tea as you overlook the vineyards and Barossa valley. Continue your journey onto Langmeil winery for an intriguing winery tour before tasting the superb wines produced from their 100 year old shiraz vines. After your morning Barossa experience wind your way through the picturesque Adelaide Hills en route to Adelaide’s oldest German settlement. Here you will have free time to explore the many shops and galleries full of local arts, crafts and produce, and sample the German Beers.
Your afternoon continues onto Cleland Wildlife Park for the chance to cuddle a koala, feed the kangaroos and see Australian wildlife in its natural habitat. Before you make your way back to Adelaide take in the views of the city and surrounds from Mount Lofty Summit. A fantastic photo opportunity for you to remember your day.
